Two or More

I’m a huge advocate on being part of a prayer meeting. And I have attended or lead a prayer meeting for 41 years now. 

I heard a testimony recently about women who had been part of a prayer group for 40 years.  Over these many years, children were raised, marriages were tested and strengthened, issues with sickness and disease prayed through. There were mountain highs and valley lows. You can only imagine all these women shared as they walked together in prayer.  One woman hospitalized facing her final hours called her prayer group and said, “come sing me to heaven.” 

“sing me to heaven.” 

Let’s cultivate praying friendships, prayer partners and gather together with like-minded believers who will pray and believe for the God’s will on earth as it is in heaven. 

As you consider ways you can impact your prayer life … consider a prayer meeting, find a prayer partner! 

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18:20 

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.” 1 John 5:14-15 

“So Peter was kept in the prison, but prayer for him was being made fervently by the church to God.” Acts 12:5 

“And when he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John who was also called Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying.” Acts 12:12
