Prayer

Marching through May

May 1st, after 6 weeks of Stay-at-Home, when I was trying to decide whether or not to make an appointments etc I distinctly heard “Give ME May.”

I didn’t hesitate. That was it. No appointments. No getting out. No changes in my Stay-at-Home.

Then during May I sensed a spiritual fine tuning. In my disciplines. Clarity for this season. A real rest body-soul-spirit. A holy dissatisfaction about some things. An unsettling about some other things. Yet a breakthrough. I could sense it.

Then last night I slipped into my prayer room before bed. Sitting there with my hugging Bible and journal and I heard a, “What _________?” God was asking me a key question. I didn’t have an answer.

This morning I was thinking about buying something online and the Lord said, “Give Me May.” I responded, “Oh, yes. May is yours.” And then a whisper, “I’ll give you June.”

God is up to something. And it’s important to Him that I be prepared.

Why am I sharing this? Because it’s about me … but it’s about you too. There is no question we are living in Church history. We are part of what God is doing and about to do. Remember, New Year’s Eve the word RESET. We can look back but not go back

I’m sharing this to make an appeal. Use these days leading up to May 31st to seek God. To rest in His presence. To seek the scriptures. To ask God questions. To let Him ask you questions. To fine-tune whatever it is He is wanting to do in us and then through us.

It’s not about me. It’s not about you. Ultimately it’s about HIM.

As we approach Pentecost … and like Passover / Easter is coincides with the Jewish Feast of Weeks (Shavuot-Pentecost) we are aware of the sacredness of this season.

This is such a key prophetic time in our lives. In this nation. In the nations. In the Church.

As I sign off until June I want to encourage you, challenge you, charge you to take this time to consider the ways and Word of God in your life. Be prepared to move forward in God’s plans and purposes. There is grace for the days at hand. And fresh anointing. And fresh wind under our sails ….

Lord God, I honor You. I bless Your holy name. I pray, make an appeal, call out to You on behalf of my brothers and sisters. God move on their hearts. Draw them to you. Silence any voice but Yours as You speak to them. Increase as they decrease. Where the need is breakthrough, come Lord Jesus. Where the need is healing (body soul or spirit) come Lord Jesus. Where the need is direction speak Holy Spirit. Where the need is __________________ You are the answer to every need. Position us to move forward with YOU in the time at hand. We love you, Lord.
